Vivitar DVR 850W

The Vivitar DVR 850W is a compact digital video camera built for use in a wide variety of settings, and represents the upper end of the low-cost series. While the slim form factor closely resembles the Vivitar DVR 865HD that follows it in the series, it has the ability to be used under up to 5 meters of water and a full webcam interface.

Unlike previous slim models such as the Vivitar DVR 510, this unit uses a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery instead of AAA batteries. This allows the design to stay even more slender for easier portability. Other features unique to this model include a 3 frame continuous shot mode and the ability to record directly in MP4 format, making it more compatible with the Mac as well as PC.
