Vivitar DVR 690HD

The Vivitar DVR 690HD is a pocket digital camcorder that is waterproof up to 10 feet and contains a rechargeable lithium ion battery, built-in microphone and speaker. Designed similar to the Flip brand of pocket recorders, it features a bright 2" TFT LCD display on the back and an SD card slot that can accept cards up to 32GB for easy transfer of recorded media to and from the device.

720p video can be recorded using 4x digital zoom, while a USB 2.0 port allows for quick file access and charging from a computer. AV cable is also supplied which enables you to use your TV screen instead of the built-in display to view video, as is an AC charger and wrist strap. Three modes may be used with this camera: video capture mode, picture capture mode and playback mode, the first of which is what is selected whenever the camera is turned on. Scene settings and image quality may be adjusted in either case using the Anti Shake Menu, Color Effect Menu, White Balance Menu, ISO Menu and others, and the menu language and date/time may be selected as well.
