Flip Video Mino
$180.00
Released June, 2008
The Pros:Compact design. Very lightweight. Improved battery life.
The Cons:Doesn't record HD. Not much video quality improvement over standard digital camera videos. More expensive than the Ultra.
The Flip Video Mino is Pure Digital's follow-up to the Flip Video Ultra. The Mino is approximately 40% smaller than the Ultra with a slightly updated video compression engine and lens type. The other significant change with this version of the Flip Video series is the battery (a rechargeable lithium ion versus 2 AA), however the remaining specs have stayed essentially the same.
